The digital age is a fantastic phenomena but it means that the wonderful libraries that many of us have built up over decades are no longer as in demand as they once were – but there is still a demand by discerning lawyers. This site hopes to bring such people together as never before.

This site came about when Malcolm Warner, a UK barrister, was asked by three colleagues in one week what they could do to market their law reports and Malcolm felt any assistance he could provide to them was pretty inadequate – despite having built up his own collection by buying many law reports  and texts over the years.

What he was aware of from speaking to one UK dealer was that there remained a real market for all sorts of law reports and legal texts around the world.   So the challenge was to tap into the wider worldwide marketplace.    This is especially true of the common law jurisdictions. Anyway there are some specialist book dealers (Wildy’s in Lincolns Inn London being outstanding) and there are the generalist online auction sites – so it was decided to create a niche marketplace online with much reduced rates for sellers and market it around the specialist law societies and suchlike internationally.

For the moment you can post your books for sale at prices you choose and we have an aspiration to move to a auction site in due course

You will find a substantial amount of information about law reports and books in the ‘Knowledge’ section of this site and please email us with any further information of interest, especially as to non-UK material. Included is information on handling/transport, assessing condition and lots more.

This is more a service site than a commercial operation although we need to cover our costs; so we hope all users will abide by the very modest payment obligations.   You will appreciate that we need to charge some fees so as to run and market the site for the benefit of you, the user.
